What we do

Support shaped around each person.

From a place to live to a summer at Camp Auger, our programs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Greenstone. We start with what each person actually wants, then build the support around that.

Our programs

Four ways we support people

Each program can stand on its own or work together, depending on what a person and their family need.

Supported Living

Individualized residential support so adults can live safely and as independently as possible — in their own home or a shared residence — with staff available around the clock where it's needed.

  • Support tailored to each person's daily routine and goals
  • Help with daily living, health, and building independence
  • A stable, welcoming home close to family and community

Community Participation Programs

Volunteering, recreation, and skill-building that connect people to the everyday life of Greenstone — from local jobs and errands to hobbies, outings, and friendships.

  • Volunteer roles and work experience in the community
  • Recreation, life skills, and social connection
  • New friendships, and a place in the community

Family Home Programs

We match people with a host family who shares their home. For some, a family setting works far better than a staffed residence.

  • Thoughtful, well-supported matches between people and host families
  • Ongoing support and training for host families
  • The comfort and routine of family life

Camp Auger

Our lakeside summer camp offers respite, friendship, and the northern outdoors to campers of all abilities. Swimming, campfires, trails, and time on the water — Camp Auger has been a summer home for our community for decades.

  • Accessible outdoor recreation on a quiet northern lake
  • Respite for families and caregivers
  • Trained staff and a safe, inclusive atmosphere

How to enquire
